South Downs

My latest ink and bleach work has been inspired whilst out this glorious summer walking on the South Downs. This one shows my favourite place, the River Cuckmere with its snake-like river meandering close to the sea but not actually feeding into it.

I add the detail once the ink was completely dry. I use a cocktail stick to get the tiny blades of grass or starry skies
